Peace for Kenya

Not so long ago, journalists and commentaries called it the 'Political Oasis' of Africa, the only stable economy and political nation in that region of Africa. Just months off, Kenya has now become a dreadful country to live in/go to. Just a disbuckle in the Elections, a spark of unfairness, has erupted into fumes and flames that no one man - not even Nobel Peace Laureatte and former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

Not just so, fights between camps of President Mwai Kibaki and opposition leader Raila Odinga have caused has caused nearly 1,000.00 deaths and 300,000 evicted from their own home - this is beginning to sound and look increasingly familiar with a looming ethnicity crisis reflecting that of Rwanda and Serbia.

In a world where the "advance" humans are fighting for the Energy Crisis and for Animal Rights, there is a frightful chill that travels through our spines to know that (literal) slaughter of humans are still happening, people beating people to death still appears on our screens. It is time for us, the fortunate ones, the privileged ones come to enlightenment, that there need to be done a call for the peace and the immediate stop of all barbaric violence - in Kenya or anywhere on earth.

If you heed the call- if you have any dread or hatred at all for genocide, civil war or the lot, join me on dayofsalvation.co.nr and Facebook® as I report on Kenya and take necessary actions against a better tomorrow.

If you would like to join this cause, please log on to http://apps.facebook.com/causes/view_cause/59718 or by coming back to dayofsalvation.co.nr.
